 Tehachapi is the place to be on August 8th! We have been graciously offered the Shed, by Mano Lujan, for an event to benefit the local Blue and Gold Star Mothers.
This will be a salute to all those who've served, we are planning to feature a military related short film viewing with live panel discussion, live music, food, raffle prizes, and more.

I am asking anyone who wishes to donate to help sponsor the event costs, or wishes to donate an item or service to be raffled for benefit of the B&GSM, to please message me. I am looking for items from local handcrafters and artisans, to gift cards/certificates from local businesses for both goods and services - things like salon services, tune-up or oil changes, dog grooming, restaurants, grocery, etc.
I have tax ID information, and the B&GSM can generate a receipt and mail it to you for tax deduction purposes.

The Blue and Gold Star Mothers charities support actively serving military members, and their families. They provide goods and services in support of troops deployed overseas. They also support the needs of families who have lost service members in battle, and they work tirelessly to honor service members KIA, ensuring that the sacrifices of those who give their lives for freedom, are never forgotten. The charities have been hit incredibly hard by the closures resulting from the COVID-19 virus. ALL of their chief fundraising events were cancelled, costing them the organization many thousands of dollars.
